More Power Available to Nigerians as Mr President Commissions Unit 6 in Egbin Power Plant:

His Excellency was  in attendance on the meritorious occasion for the commission of the unit 6 steam turbine generator that was down for all 10 year. The minister of power Prof Chinedu Nebo said in his speech that power outages will gradually become a thing of the past.He commended the effort of Sahara Group; the parent company of Sahara Power and KEPCO ;Sahara's foreign technical partners on the wonderful job they have been doing in the power sector and also on their man power expansion by hiring over 100 young and vibrant engineers in the power generation and power distribution sectors. The unit commissioned has added 220MW to national grid and will serve the nation's growing power demand. Pictures from the occasion below;
